If you treat people special first, it’s tends to create this special relationship
whether in business or marriage.
When special treatment is honest, it’s good.
When you would treat a person, amazing even if you got nothing in return
special treatment is good
Special treatment is good when both parties win.
When it’s the M.O. of each party involve to create and delight the other. Special treatment is a good thing.

Pick and choose our Focus
When we focus on the struggle, we forget to focus on the purpose.
We get to choose what we focus on.
We get to pick what we pay attention to.
What we focus on, does it bring joy or stress.
When we pay attention the present
We win.
We get to choose what we focus on.

If We Cut 80% Of The B.S.
We complicate our life to hide from real meaningful work. We create noise to avoid the silence that causes us to ponder the real questions.
It’s out of style to not be busy and constantly plugged in. It feels wrong to have nothing do, no one to text……no drama to attend to.
This constant activity and stimulation seems natural. What would we look like with out the constant noise……..things attend to. These urgent, but not important things we must do now!!
What would happen if we pushed the off button. And reevaluated what we really want to pay attention to.
What would change if we were more conscious of who we spent time with.
How different would our bank statement look.
How different would we be if we cut 80% of the B.S. out of our life.

The Motion Of A Man
The motion of a man
Forward
4:45am
Leather boots lace up strong
Dirty lunch box
Prayer before sun rise
Iron H beams
Burning rods at 5:45am
The smell of hot mental
Steel beams, steel hands
The life of an iron man.
A Closet of prayer
Laughter
Prayer, left over meat loaf with carrots
and crackers.
Cold lime aid
Singing
Sleeping all the way home
Consistency
Getting thing done
Building a fence
Feeding the dogs
Cooking dinner while singing
Working on the car
the bank
Stater brothers
A load to the dump
Prayer meeting
A Leaky pipes
Plaid shirt and suspenders
Work caliced hands
Tired eyes
Gentle contagious smile
Watching a western
A ride for a stranger
A ride for a loved one
Anointing the sick
The voice way before, a note was ever sung
The voice that vibrated the lens of my childhood
Using his hand to get the job done.
Digging the ditch that needed to be dug.
No time to think, only time to do.
Two days work, in one day time

One Year Ago Today No Longer Owns Any Pain
One Year Ago today
I got the call that Daddy was killed in a accident while working on his
truck. I cannot describe the horrific pain and state of terror that consumed me I can’t really articulate the level of lost that I experienced on Nov. 20th 2010. It was the most surreal combination of emotions that I have ever experienced.
What I fine amazing is that even though Daddy’s was killed in a awful way. His life was so much more powerful then his death.
I am so moved by Daddy humility and strength. Daddy was fearless, loving and kind. He was at peace with himself, and God.
He was zero degree’s of separation away from the holy spirit
He was a great man. His great power as a man was gained by the meekness he chose to live by.
As I examine this present world, where fathers as a whole are missing and the fathers that are present many times lack the examples and support of what it means to be a man. I am humbled and honored that some how, God allow me to have Daddy as a father. For some reason Daddy chose to be a noble man of God.
Very early on, Daddy made some decision about his spiritual life, that laid a spiritual foundation for his children to stand on. The spiritual foundation that Daddy embraced is something we still reap from today.
This foundation is the word of God, the life of Jesus Christ and bible principals expressed from Genesis to the maps.
When Daddy’s foremen on the job mistreated him and cursed him out. Daddy was a man standard. when they went after Daddy’s job and wrongfully fired him, Daddy was man of standard. Which was manifested in him being rehired. When Daddy couldn’t find work he was a man of standard, when we where homeless Daddy was a man of standard. When Daddy was threaten for his life, Daddy was and man of standard. When The church turned against Daddy. Daddy was a man of Standard. He was unbreakable, unmovable, because his anchor was true.
Daddy’s life causes me to examine my life, to examine my spiritual fiber. My domestic fiber, my character. Daddy’s life causes me to wrestle with my soul. To face my demons. Daddy’s life causes me to strive for righteousness. I am so blessed to have had the chance to see Daddy’s life up close and personal.
A year ago today doesn’t own the tragic pain of death, but is a reflection and remembrance of the greatest man I know who I had the honor of being a son of. TRAVIS LEVON JOHNSON at true man, father, husband, and Saint of God.

We Need Artistic Trail Blazers
Follow your heart, not what every one else is doing.
Stop (or don't start) doing what's already been done and wonder why things are not happening.
Understand that people buy your work when it get's in their heart (this takes time).
The reality is no one has the secret to the music business ( you might though).
Most industry folks are to jaded and lost, to dig your art.
But that's ok! Those aren't the folks, who are going to buy your art.
Every doesn't need to dig you and your art.
Focus only on the folks that get you.
If there is a secret, it's you.
Go do Art

Which 80/20 Are You Striving For
There are the people who live in the top 20 percent who produce 80 percent of the results, profits etc.
Then you have the other 80ercent but they only bring 20 percent of the results, profits to the table.

Who Needs A Record Deal vs. 20 Friends....I'll take 20!!!
20 friends that dig your art is way more
valuable then lunch with a head producer or record
exec.
Your friends will enjoy your work for free and spread
it for free.
The record exec. will only support you if you have the potential
to scale to a level that makes since for them to invest.
Your friends will spread this for the love of you and your work
They will spread because you resonate with them. And they with you.
Years ago some one told me that…. You don’t want to people to buy your
record because they like you…but because it’s good.
The only art I buy is by some one that I like.
The only art that I will spread is by someone I like.
It’s not just all about being liked…skill level is important.
But people don’t get behind art because it’s really good.
It's not about being good enough or having the right connections
It's about creating a two way street with your friends, followers and fans.
And doing your best to make meaningful art.
People get behind art because it validates who they are, how they feel and what
they want to feel.

Your Unique Mojo
Only you can bring your gifts to the world.
In this major social and economic shift it is more realistic
for you to share your art with the world.
No one thinks like you, sees the world like you.
no one has your acculturation
and no one else can create your art but you.
that uniqueness is what the world can't do with out.
You have something very unique that you can offer
bring your whole self to the table and be generous with your gifts.

10 miles wide and a inch deep
Who do we call in tragedy or in great joy
How valuable is the majority of our relationships online
Are we creating dept with our online chats and threads or is it a lot of mental masturbation.
How valuable is the cyber drama.
The social cesspool will always be there, we get to choose if we accept it.
We use to go to Starbucks and talk to our friends face to face.
I am not wishing for the past but definitely examining the present

Worth Repeating
by Reed H. Bradford
Some years ago Pres. J. Reuben Clark told the following story: It was at the annual county fair, and farmers from far and near had come to exhibit their harvest and to engage hired hands for the next year. One prosperous farmer came across a husky lad and asked: "What can you do?" The answer: "I can sleep when the wind blows."
With such an answer the farmer turned and started to walk away, perturbed at the impudence of the man. But he turned again and asked: What did you say?" "I can sleep when the wind blows."
"Well," said the farmer, "I don't know what that means, but I'm going to hire you anyway."
Winter came, followed by the usual spring, and the new hired hand didn't show any particular signs of extra work, but filled the duties of his callin as most others would have done.
And then one night in early summer the farmer noticed a strong wind rising. He dashed to the hired hand's quarters to arouse him to see that all the stock was properly cared for. There he found the hired hand asleep. He was about to awaken him, when he remembered the boy's strange statement.
He went to his barns and there found all his animals in their places, and the doors and windows securely locked. He found the haystack had been crisscrossed with heavy wires, anticipating such a night, and that it would weatherthe storm.
Then the farmer knew what his hired man meant when he gave as his only qualification, "I can sleep when the wind blows."

Fact or Fiction
What story are we telling our self that is in truth a lie
What situation are we putting up with because we feel obligated
Dead end job
Abusive marriage
Toxic friendship
Financial instability
Church or busy body small group
What world view have we embraced that is not true, but we let guide our decision.
Stop doing things we don’t like, easy to say I know…we deserve more then a toxic unfulfilled life.
What is factual and real?
The present….. anxiety comes when we go to far ahead in the future or to far back in the past.
Change only takes place when the pain of our current situation is less then the fear of having to change.
Healthy habit go through and index things that are real verse fiction we create that enables us to live a fearful life and keeps us hiding from doing the work that we are suppose to be doing
Be encourage

Who Is Elsewhere Road
For me Mark and Mindy Torres are dear friends. Along with a slew of other ventures they are a husband and wife musical duo. Elsewhere Road is primarily piano and vocals. They also add in other long time musician to join them from time to time. We have the honor of having Elsewhere Road share again, at this years Christmas concert.
It’s really neat to see artist come together and create an music event in the High Desert.
The High Desert is very unique where as it doesn’t have an artistic musical culture.
So we are happy to have Elsewhere Road who for years have been consistently performing in the desert and abroad .
Despite the lack of a scene and the harsh musical climate Elsewhere Road continues to show up and bring great music to the stage.
On Sat. Dec 3rd 2011 7:00pm 11515 Baldy Mesa Rd. Victorville CA 92392 Elsewhere Road, George Jauss will join Fivacious in sharing music and the holiday spirit.

An Excuse To See Your Beautiful Face
Fivacious
George Jauss
and maybe some other special folks
Each year the Christmas concert is a very special. We get the opportunity to share with our long time Family. We seem to always attract some new family members as well. We work really hard to make this happen every year.
This is a tradition that we have enjoyed for many years. As we get older we see how precious these shows are. If we are blessed to do this for another 20 years that's only 20 more concert.
So to everyone who makes it, out this year. We love you!! miss you!!! And can't wait to see your beautiful Face.
The concert is just an excuse to see your beautiful face

I Won't Be Offended
I get a lot of people who are worried that I will be offended if they don't get or like my art.
Some have gone to some of my close friends and asked them if I was ok. After seeing some of my work.
In many cases they don't want me to find out how they feel.
They think, I will be offended or my feelings will get hurt.
Don't worried,
I would never be offended or hurt. I understand how far out my art is. I would be more surprised if any one got it at all.
Becuase, It's so off and weird
I create first for my self and if any else gets it then cool if not I will be fine.
A Artist has to create, art for him or her self.
It's really just therapy for the creative minds.
It's Ok to hate my art and still be my friend.
If you have any question about my art I am a open as well.
